Girls' riding lesson with Gaye

This is an awesome little show pony who is 27 years old and has plenty of get-up and go. You'd think she was a 5 yr. old! Yet, she is so well-trained. Grace and Rose has a blast!

This morning my girls had their first riding lesson with a new instructor. The pony they rode was absolutely adorable. She is 27 yrs. old and going strong. Her energy level amazed me. I felt really good about the instruction they will receive from Gaye. In addition to the fact that she is a woman of faith, she has sound teaching methods and principles, safety is always in the forefront of her mind, and she will challenge my girls without frustrating them. Gaye commented that the girls already have a good solid foundation, which I attribute to my instructor, Pam. Everything Pam has taught me I have tried to teach my girls on their level. Pam has been an invaluable source of wisdom and information in the area of riding and training horses. I am 100% sure that God placed us here so we could learn and grow as horsewoman in a safe setting. As well, I am sure that He provided Windsor, my equine teacher, at the perfect time....

I know that My children, husband and I are God's sons and daughters, but sometimes I forget that he cares about every part of our lives, even our recreation.
